Paulo is an independent artist based in Southern New Mexico. He utilizes painting and photography to express his own unique creative vision. Drawing upon personal experiences relating to the transcendent potential in human consciousness. His vibrant, abstract and often surreal imagery is influenced by dreams, nature, cosmology, travel, indigenous wisdom, literature and the human condition. Presently, Paulo is expanding his vision with a projected solo exhibition of new works that are inspired by his travels across the timeless landscape of the American South West. Where he and his dog Bowie, explore and uncover organic inspiration for his latest work.
