Paulo is a visionary artist based in Southern New Mexico. His use of painting and photography among other creative mediums, is an ongoing journey of self discovery and self expression. Drawing upon personal experiences relating to the transcendent potential in human consciousness. His work takes on an abstract and metaphoric quality that hints of a primordial and spiritual nature. Progressive, vibrant and surreal. His work holds bridges to inner dimensions of the human psyche and heart. Its influences are found in nature, travel, cosmology, dreams, indigenous wisdom, literature and the human spirit. A solo exhibition of his work was recently shown in Las Cruces, New Mexico to much critical acclaim. Paulo is presently developing new material which he describes as “The next chapter of self discovery and creative evolution on this path”.
